Frameless
Our most requested build. No frame around the panels, only the hardware that holds them.
Semi-frameless
A slim frame on some edges. Costs less and fits tub enclosures and tighter openings well.
Clear or low iron
Clear glass carries a slight green tint at the edges. Low iron is nearly colorless, the upgrade we recommend over light marble.
3/8 inch tempered, CRL hardware
Three eighths inch tempered safety glass, with CRL hardware in the finish you choose.

Questions homeowners ask us
How long does it take?
Most projects are installed within two to three weeks from the day we take measurements. Installation itself takes about two hours.
Do I need an in-home visit to get a price?
No. Send us a photo of your shower space and we will give you a price range the same day. We only come out to measure once you want to move forward.
What is the difference between clear and low iron glass?
Clear glass has a slight green tint at the edges. Low iron glass is nearly colorless and shows tile and stone exactly as they are. Low iron is an upgrade we recommend for light colored marble.
Frameless or semi-frameless?
Frameless is the cleanest look and our most requested option. Semi-frameless uses a slim frame on some edges and costs less. We will tell you which one fits your opening.
What glass and hardware do you use?
Three eighths inch tempered safety glass with CRL hardware, in the finish you choose.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Crystal Glass Inc is a registered Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (#215101), fully insured, and every installation carries a one-year warranty.
What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners across Massachusetts, with same week scheduling in Newton, Wellesley, Needham, Natick, Brookline, Lexington, Concord, Sudbury, Hopkinton, Franklin and the surrounding MetroWest towns.
Do you repair shower doors?
No. We design, fabricate and install new custom glass, and we replace existing enclosures. We do not repair hardware, seals or rollers on doors we did not install. If your door is old or damaged beyond a simple fix, we would be glad to quote a full replacement.
How much does a custom frameless shower door cost?
Most of our custom frameless projects fall between $1,800 and $2,600 installed, depending on size, glass type and hardware finish. Send us a photo of your shower and we will give you a real number the same day.
One-year warranty, in writing
Every installation carries a one-year warranty on the glass and the hardware we install. If something we installed fails within the year, we come back and fix it.
